Ghana does not need that high number of justices on the SC when the US has only nine justices. But Mahama has a good reason to add more justices to equate the political balance between the two parties.
It is time the constitution is amended to limit the tenure of these justices . The SC should should be bi-partisan in their dispensation of their rulings but since they are partisan, this ping pong in their appointments will be the new norm
