This one Akuffo Addo failed to listen and went about ordering chiefs to stand up before greeting him, giving his appointees a field day to steal from the poor. To add insult to injury, the appointees were full of empty pride. Arrogance greed, selfishness was their lot. Ghanaians therefore voted with anger.   Yes, Otumfuo cautioned you people, but you were too power drunk and threw his caution and others to the wind. Stop crying over spilt milk and go back to the drawing board, re-strategise and come back stronger and more appealing. Look at your last performance as against the total registered voters and not just the total voter turnout. Those who failed to turnout are also part of the past voter results. They have communicated something that must not be ignored.
  
  The last results per the total registered voters of 18,774,195 were as follows:
  1) NDC – 6,591,790 (35.11%);
  2) NPP – 4,877,611 (25.98%);
  3) Other parties together – 214,082 (1.14%);
  4) Rejected ballots – 247,937 (1.32%);
  5) Ablekuma North, yet to be decided ballots — 121,269 (0.65%);
  6) Total voter turnout (including Ablekuma North) – 11,931,420 (63.55%); and
  7) Voter abstention (those who voted with their feet) – 6,842,775 (36.45%).
  
  NDC with the odds in their favour, and with all their might and force could garner only 35.11% of the total registered voters. Lesser than the abstained voters by 1.34%. Some of these abstained voters will be up for grabs in the next elections. However, it is most unlikely that NDC can get any substantial number of them, per the trend of votes for the previous winner in our elections. Although the odds were in NDC’s favour, they could only hold on to their previous support base and strived to add only about 101,000 to it. They should therefore not delude themselves by thinking that they have most Ghanaians on their side. They still have a lot of work to do, beyond their usual propaganda.
  
  That is why NPP has to go back to the drawing board in order to up their game. Shake off the arrogance, vindictiveness, all the undesirables with and amongst them, and also breakdown all the barriers between them and their support base and potential supporters from the abstained voters.

Had he finished even one major project like Kumasi Central Market or Suame Interchange, Dr. Bawumiah will be President today. They halted the Kumasi Airport construction for more than a year with the excuse that there is no money while Tamale Airport project never stopped during the same period. They actually moved the workers who were working at the Kumasi Airport to work on the one at Tamale. Had it not been the press conference Wontumi made decrying the abandonment of the Suame Interchange project after sod cutting for over 1yr, Akufo Addo was never going to touch it.
  Those who cares about NPP must ensure that Akufo Addo never get to make important decisions on NPP again. His divisionism is not needed in the Party

I was happy to see Atwima-Kwanwowa ,Foase ,Kwadaso stretch of road construction re-started after 2024 election ,just a month and a half of delay. And the Auditor General finding the missing salary reserve of government in not far months to get hardworking and innocent workers paid. Your party,NPP has a problem of winning the next election,come 2025 general elections, as NDC gov.under Pres.Mahama continues to excel in many sectors of the socio-economy of Ghana.
