Those of us who lived through the 1940s and 1950s saw Danquah. The one thing consistent in JB Danquah's case was failing exams. He was an ineffective thief who stole Paa Grant's and RS Blay's UGCC and ran it into the ground. JB Danquah was ignominuously beaten by Kwame Nkrumah in the 1960 presidential election. The margin was 80%. Kwame Nkrumah had 90 % and JB Danquah had 10 %. He contested the parliamentary seat in Kyebi and lost potorrrr to Oheneba Aaron Ofori Attah a teacher. JB Danquah's performance is the precursor of Akufo Addo's performance when Akufo Addo was the Attorney General. He consistently lot one high profile case after another high profile case. He lost the Akyea Mensah murder case so badly he never got his public voice back. If ever there was a man who paraded himself as somebody but had little to show for it, it was JB Danquah. JB was a failed leader who could not have the back of his team members. He quickly blamed Kwame for the 1948 boycott which led to Nkrumah being the only one among the "Big Six to be jailed.
It is not surprising that todays function featured Akufo Addo, a disgrace to mankind, for his ability to con Ghanaians,loot the National Coffers and still shamelessly walk around as past head of state of Ghana.
