The faster the better,the only way to keep the peace of the country in check so it does not disappear. But remember minister of education to start replacing the major part of it's regional,municipal ,district and metro directors , headmasters,headmistresses, assistant headmasters and assistant headmistresses who were appointed by Nana Addo and NPP gov.have been performing poorly since their appointment dates ,and with many court case evidences .A huge judgement debt awaits gov. of Ghana if these unqualified and underperforming GES staff are kept in offices.

my concern is how to prevent any out going president to do same in future.
there must be an act of parliament to prevent the president from making any decision that has consequence on security, economy , purchasing etc after 7th December.
let us make a law that forbid the outgoing president of decision making.
let us prescribe a road map to the transition of power- that apart from commission a completed project, or preparing the last state of the nation he is going to hand it over or there is a war that he is commander in chief to preside high ranking military briefings and sittings, he should take accumulated leave prior to the swearing in of the new elected president
