They know that the ONLY institution mandated to interpret the constitution is the Supreme Court, not parliament or the presidency. The speaker invoked an article of the constitution to expel duly-elected representatives from the parliament. It’s only the Supreme Court that should have the final say on this particular constitutional issue. Is this too hard for NDC to comprehend? At times I wonder how these NDC MPs got elected to parliament.

Nobody or organisation, whether state or private, including the supreme Court and its sitting judges and parliament and its parliamentarians or the president can act ultra vires under its all-encompassing enforceable power. Let all relevant state bodies and institutions do their job and stay in their lanes. The CONSTITUTION repudiates any attempt, perceived or palpable, to impose a stumbling block in the execution of its mandate.
