Yes, in any political party, there are such "turncoats like Cynthia Morrison and others" but they would be replaced by Ghanaians who love NPP despite being not members.

My prediction for the next election is, Bawumia would win with the help of Northerners and Voltarians.

They almost lost the last elections because of the crackdown on galamsey. Otherwise, their economic performance in the first term was far superior to that of the erstwhile Mahama administration. But they may have overspent ahead of election 2020 and the situation worsened under the COVID crisis. At the very least, be fair to the facts and don't celebrate the prospect of NDC coming to power! NPP might very well lose but Mahama-led NDC is a worse alternative.

NPP is the best political party with the ideal development vision for the country. However, the nature and character of some of it's top echelons leaves much to be desired. Why would stoop godlessly so low as to engage in acts that should contribute to the defeat of the political party you have so much benefited from? You are a member of parliament, yet you choose to stay away from parliament for months, if not years, when crucial issues are brought to parliament for consideration and yet you are not in the least touched. Even as a minister. Your president nominates somebody to be voted for speaker of parliament, yet you went ahead and voted against him in favour of someone from the opposition party who can easily cause your downfall. You go into competition with another person aspiring to be voted for parliamentary candidate and didn't win yet you decide to go independent, ignoring the consequences and the larger interest of the party. So it's a house that is divided against itself. Going forward, the party should look deep in search of loyalty and good character and people with empathy for others to be vetted for those who vie to occupy positions in party and government. The negative characters are causing so much harm to the party than what they bring on board. Shame onto such self-seeking characters within the folds of the NPP.
