These individuals’ names are all associated with their countries independence but it does mean they solely fought for their independence. Nkrumah was helped by many people but he was the main leader behind the independence movement. This stupid argument must stop. It is a disgrace that some idiots question his name’s association with our independence. Sorry but you can’t change history written in the hearts of people.

Kwame Nkrumah was the architect and driving force behind Ghana's independence indeed but left the naming of the idea he birthed to the man idiots want to erase from history. JB Danquah. The man described as the doyen of Ghana politics. What logic is that? The Ghana that we are so proud of got it's name from Dr JB Danquah and not broke ass back stabbing Nkrumanh .   Do you understand what is called a process. O wish we never had independence at the time we did. Nkrumah relied on the ignorance and stupidity of most Ghanaians at the time to lead Ghana to the so called independence. Has Ghana ever been independent. This was an evil power drunk individual called Kwame Nkrumah. He is part of most of the woes we find ourselves in today. How come the so called founder of Ghana s CPP doesn't have a single seat in parliament. Look at the caliber of people that are CPP members. Because of the ignorance of the people at the time that is why that opportunist guy could become a president. Ghanaians are traveling to seek greener pastures all over the world including the middle east. We can talk about Li Quan of Singapore and Mahathir Mohammed of Malaysia. These are people that genuinely loved and care about their countries and not killing and imprisoning people arbitrary. Like Rawlings said he had never experienced anything like the joy and jubilation across the country when Nkrumah was overthrown. I also unequivocally blame successive governments and the worst of the all the current Akuffo Addo led administration for the unprecedented economic hardships Ghanaians find ourselves in to. Kwame Nkrumah was never a hero. He wasn't wise and rushing us to get independence because of his power drunk nature is part of our woes. He is not and can never be the founder of Ghana. You can live in the past and keep fooling yourselves.
