The more I read what people like Dr Hamid Armah write or say, the more I doubt the value of PhDs in Ghana. Rather than the critical thinking expected of somebody with a doctorate degree, all you hear is a kind of shallow thinking you expect from the 'man in the street'. What competence has Napo shown is the education of energy ministries? The random blackouts, or the botched program to provide computer for teachers or that some students are still holding classes under trees. It is people like Dr Hamid Armah who have debased the value of a PhD in the eyes of the Ghanaian public.

Maybe his stupid father in the village that can't differentiate btwn confidence and arrogance, the guy who told SHS students who were demanding for more toilet facilities in their school, to be happy they were using polythene bags to ease themselves , and same person who told Ghanaians to prepare their own Dumsor timetable, this guy lied through the teeth that Mahama bused students to intentionally go and faint at an event or something and later admitted to lying about it, before a parliamentary vetting committee, it's only a useless PhD holder as this one who will regard all these as confidence but not arrogance.
