They, Ofori Panyifie, have tried unsuccessfully attempted to dominate the chieftaincy and governance systems by nominating themselves as frontrunner spoke persons for Ghana to the international community and colonial masters from time immemorial.

They finally became paid up informants when that attempt failed because Kwame Nkrumah had overshined them. JB Danquah was shamefully beaten in a parliamentary election in his own backyard Kyebi by Muslim settler.
