I have never heard him make any serious economic analysis on any economic issue in Ghana. He might not qualify for the post of a teaching assistant in Economics at the University of Ghana or at KNUST. He did not give up his post for Nana. He lost an election. How can he beat Nana in an election when he cannot beat a non entity like Kennedy Agyepong? He is just divisive and destructive. His mantra is, "if I don't win, there will be trouble".

He has since contested Nana in almost all the primaries since and his performance kept dipping. In the said 2007 contest, was Alan leading? No. Nana had led him but did not make the 50% and Alan threw in the towel. He should stop talking as though he won the primaries and said he wont go again and so handed over to Nana. His talk has since been very childish. He is embarrased at the polls again and he is now Afafranto. Worse still, he is even more irrelevant than before. Done and dusted political career
