Former Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia's campaign tour of the Eastern Region is turning out to be an exercise to consolidate his support in the region.

Bawumia, who is in the Eastern Region campaigning, has so far received tremendous support from members of the party in many constituencies he has visited so far.

On Friday November 28, 2025, he was endorsed by a number of party stakeholders in Akuapem North, Akuapem South and Okere.

And on Saturday November 29, 2025, Bawumia received another set of endorsements as he continued his tour of the region.

In the New Juaben South Constituency, 30 out of 34 electoral area coordinators pledged their support for Dr Bawumia.

The 30 electoral area coordinators, who praised Bawumia for his loyalty and commitment to the party, also assured him that they would work very hard for him, to ensure a resounding victory for him in January and ultimately in 2028.
