CPP is the best party for Ghana - Dr. Nduom declares

Accra, Oct. 10, GNA - The Convention Peoples Party (CPP) is the only political force that has the requisite development policies with appropriat= e ideology practical enough to make Ghana strong, disciplined and prosperous, Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom, the Party's 2008 Presidential Candidate, has stated. According to him, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) since the 4th Republic had had the opportunity to demonstrate what they could offer to the people of Ghana. A statement issued in Accra on Sunday by Mr Kofi Asamoah-Siaw at the Office of Dr. Nduom said the living standards of the masses had not improve= d or made better.

It said considering the plight of many Ghanaians and the high unemployment rate, it was time for Ghanaians to consider an alternative party, which was the CPP.

The statement said it was only the CPP that could bring about massive development, economic transformation and total utilisation of untapped potentials in Ghanaians.

It said these comments were made when the party opened seven new offices in the Ashanti Region.

The constituencies that benefited from the offices included: Asante-Akim North, Asante Akim South, Bosome-Freho, Ejisu-Juaben, New Edubiase, Kumawu, and Adansi-Akrofrom. It said the party had critically analysed and assessed its performance in previous elections and had come out with strategies to achieve electoral success in 2012.

The statement said Dr Nduom had vowed to do everything possible to resource the party and provide it with the needed logistics. He urged members of the party to be committed and put away their individualistic agenda and make gross sacrifices for the party to ascend to the seat of government again. Dr Nduom tasked the constituency executives to recruit more people int= o the party and organize them to win more parliamentary and presidential vote= s for the CPP.
