Mr. Mahama is exactly one of the visionless African leaders that have always been accused of misplacing their priorities. Does the NDC government think, despite the massive corruption, they can borrow recklessly and spend their way foolishly into another mandate in 2016, when the nation is over burdened with HIPC and workers wallowing in hunger and over taxed?
Governance under the NDC government is all about deceit and 'opium of the people'. They enjoy everything under the sun but ask us to wait for our basic needs in heaven. And as they ask us to tighten our belts for future betterment, they have already loosened theirs for immediate consumption. They didn't even respect our intelligence when they asked us to wait for a paradise in three years. The truth is that, everything they promise is a mirage and we will never find comfort under them because; they are con-men with con plans.

Who asked Dr Danaa to take sides in a chieftaincy dispute by solely declaring the chieftaincy status of the Americans illegal. Who sent the National Security Officials to go and harass the Americans. We all know the National Security Zombis like operating under the cover of darkness( you remember the Legon Toll Booth Saga) and their hatred for dogs is unimaginable( you remember NS official threatened to shoot and kill the dogs of the software designer of UG students' election). So if the dogs of the two American citizens were killed prior to their gruesome murder you can now see those behind the killing.
Dr Danaa cannot throw dust into our eyes. If others have thrown dust into his eyes, that is his own cup of tea.

A nation without power is like a car without petrol. Nothing will work especially in a modern country where everyone and everything depends on electricity. The cost of running such installations is very high but the cost of not having it is even higher. We need a government which understands that and appreciate the need to prioritise. Giving soli to journalists at a time like this is a disgrace and it shows the government cares only about winning power. The church elders should continue to pile on the pressure.

Why can't Ghanaians make the right call? We should rather put more pressure on our engineers who are trained in the field and are not performing yet drawing their salaries every month.Because everyone is blaming the gov't the engineers are relaxing and not being serious.
We are in the era of globalisation,we should rather advise and support the gov't to outsource the engineering department of the VRA or energy sector to a specialised foreign company with the technological know-how.Now the corporate world is not for lazy thinkers. The clergy should be real bring solutions instead of blaming.

This Government is simply overwhelmed with the problems they are facing. They don`t have any clue how to solve this dumsor problem,so they turn to attck anybody who complains.
Fact is,they could have done better, but for the massive corruption in Government, members of Government take any project they are suppose to undertake as an oppotunity to enrich themselves.Otherwise how can we explain, why we have acquired over 27Billion Dollars in loans in the last six years, yet we canm`t even afford to fix our energy problems.

Why don't they first stir up positive patriotic fervor in their members by challenging them to each donate $50.00 to help stem 'DUMSOR'.
The Clergy must donate $500.00 each.
This act of patriotism will help inspire Ghanaians everywhere to also contribute. Your convoluted argument is an absolute hogwash.

If they want to be taken serious, they should be very objective when they talk about issues of this nature. Ghana is not the only country experiencing this problems. Just last week, Venezuela, with all its oil, has tasked all government Agencies to close early from work to save energy. Argentina is no exception as well as Brazil. Ghanaians, led by the clergy (with Ashanti and Eastern regions bloodlines) filled with tribal and political party hatred for the current administration but never wondered why their presumed best president Ghana ever had did not solve Ghana electricity for the ages now seem to have balls of a brass monkey to go bananas over ongoing dumsor. It behooves me to hear and read from people in Ghana who should know better but fallen victim to political gutter level theatrics they blame this government.
Can anyone of these critics show a number of things the current government did to have stopped/minimized an illusionary abundant supply and distribution of electricity? The current government is guilty of allowing budgetary constraints to force its hand in prioritization of government services to the people; the people cannot escape what is coming to us for the failures to pay our taxes due and on time and by preferring mismanagement of one administration over others.

I did attend a mission school. I recall in form 1 the school had define pavements for walk ways for students. If you were caught taking a short cut across the grass you were punished to write lines thus " SHORT CUTS ARE ALWAYS DANGEROUS "Do we really want short term solutions simply because we want energy or long term solutions so we don't have recurrent issues in solving always our short term energy crisis which has been the bane of previous governments ? Rev Dr Martin Luther couldn't have said it better than " I BELIEVE THAT UNARMED TRUTH AND UNCONDITIONAL LOVE WILL HAVE THE FINAL WORD IN REALITY. THIS IS WHY RIGHT, TEMPORARILY DEFEATED, IS STRONGER THAN EVIL TRIUMPHANT " I simply urge John MAHAMA my brother to do for this country what is right NOT what short term solutions people are using against him. He must stand firm to do the right which is the longest term solution for this perennial power crisis we having been experiencing, God is behind him.

A woman had a parrot that she took with her everywhere she went. She would even take the parrot to the club with her when she went dancing and drinking on Saturday nights.
Whenever the woman went onto the dance floor, the parrot would yell, "The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire,Dumsor,Dumsor, we don't need no water-let the mothafukkah burn! Burn, motherfukkah, burn!"
The crowd on the dance floor would always cheer and holler in appreciation when the parrot would yell. This would make the parrot yell even more and of course make the crowd go wild. This would go on all night long, every time the parrot went out.
One Sunday morning the woman took the parrot to church and into the choir section with her, and when the choir started to sing, the parrot yelled,, ''The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire,Dumsor,Dumsor we don't need no water-let the motherfukkah burn! Burn, motherfukkah, burn!''
She was horrified and corrected the parrot, "No, you don't say that here!"
The parrot looked around and asked, "Why not? These are the same motherthafukkahs that was at the club last night!"

I have counted over 65 different insults on the president as result of only what the clergy has done. It's like the clergy is rather adding fuel to fire, by telling everybody to insult the anointed and appointed leader of the nation because everything is his fault.

Mr.President you a liar and hypocrite. If he thinks it shouldn't extend to the creative arts industry then u should have showed the way by not using people in creative arts for political campaigning. Once you do that then you don't turn around three years and say they shouldn't engage in polemics. The creative arts industry has to be political but not partisan. Mr.President there is a difference and once again if you aren't solving our problems you don't have to comment about everything..Keep quiet ..

How much money is the Christian Council willing to contribute to help stem the tide called 'Dumsor'. I believe strongly that rather than the unwise, unnecessary, wanton and incessant criticisms by these so called clergy, the country will be best served if they contribute at least $20000.00 each from their constituent churches to help rectify the situation. If they set this example, so many others including myself and most Ghanaians abroad will follow suit.INVEST MONEY NOT CRITICISMS.
