What the farmers are saying is true and it's very disheartening. i am a purchasing clerk of the company and at yawmatwa which is closer to the aforementioned towns in the district. as i talk right now 16 bags of cocoa which is equivalent to 1 ton is in my society (Tepakrom) for more than three weeks but no money to pay the farmers and that has yielded various degrees of grievances from the parmers. I will therefore urge the government to pay immediate heed to the cry of the farmers as it's the only means to fending for their family.

The $1.8 billion syndicated loan taken by Cocoa Board to purchase cocoa for this year was all stollen by Opuni and his NDC so there is no money to pay for the produce. NPP will have to find fresh money to pay for cocoa purchased till the end of the season. That is why the farmers are not being paid. The president should set up the office of the special prosecutor immediately to deal with these situations. Mr President please hurry up with the Special Prosecutor. The country is waiting.

COCOBOD WAS CREATED AS A MONOPOLY & LIKE ALL MONOPOLIES THEY ARE COMFORTABLY INSULATED FROM COMPETITION, THEY ARE PAMPERED WITH SWISS SALARIES ON THE DONKEY BACKS OF MAINLY ILLITERATE PEASANT FARMERS. LIKE DINOSAURS PLODDING CLUMSILY TOWARDS AN UNCERTAIN EXTINCTION DATE, COCOBOD LACKS INNOVATION AT LEAST WITH REGARDS TO FARMERS' WELFARE. WITH A KALEIDOSCOPE OF PHD HOLDERS, COCOBOD SHOCKINGLY MAINTAINS A MEDIOCRE > 90 YEARS OLD GUGISBERG-STYLE COCOA ECONOMY & BUSINESS MODEL. ISN'T IT SHOCKING THAT IN OUR OWN MOTHERLAND GHANA, COCOBOD WITH THE SUPPORT OF
CORRUPT ASSHOLE NDC/NPP
GOVERNMENTS STILL MAKES IT ILLEGAL
FOR A YOUNG UNEMPLOYED FOOD TECHNOLOGIST TO PURCHASE HER MOTHER'S COCOA DIRECTLY FROM THE FARM TO PROCESS IN A MORE PROFITABLE COCOA POWDER BUSINESS START UP? THIS 2016 ELECTION WASN'T FOR NPP; IT IS THE BEGINNING OF TECTONIC POLITICAL CHANGES TO COME!!!
