I can see the hands of NPP here trying to incite Nananom against the Mayor. If Nana Agyenim Boateng is the Otumfour's Rep and the Mayor is not officially notified, what is wrong in asking? If Nananom Agyenim Boateng claims to have incurred cost on behalf of the Assembly that needs to be reimbursed and the Major is not aware of his locus to incur such cost on their behalf what is wrong in asking.? Can we put politics aside and be objective for once.
The Asantehene is wise and will notify the Assembly of such appointment and if there is a gap in communication he would know how to rectify that.

If, indeed, this is the letter written by the Mayor to the Asanteman Council, I really do not see any harm or portrayal of disrespect to Nananom.

Simply let the Otumfour update the records of the Assembly by a formal letter to it concerning the appointment of the Amoamanhene as his representative on that Committee.

I personally think Manhyia and all Chiefs should stay away from governs. They always bring confusion. Even in UK where the queen is the overall head has stayed out of government business. I told think this chieftaincy stuff is helping Ghana. It is about time these Chiefs stayed in the palace and leave government business for the politicians.

So whats your point? Where was Kojo Bonsu when the traders acquired their stores at Kajetia. This is why most of them refused to leave for the new market to be built. The traders were assured that they will get their stores back and that deal was brokered by the chiefs, but now that the market is almost ready, Kojo Bonsu and his NDC crooks want to sell them to completely new traders increasing the price of allocation 3 fold. This is why you can't trust anybody in Ghana. How do the former traders who can't afford to pay this 3 fold price get their allocation back? Now these traders are going to hold the chiefs accountable for helping the KMA to remove them but the chiefs brokered the deal in good faith. The original deal was for the former traders to pay one 1/3 of the money for the new stores and then pay the rest (2/3) by monthly instalments.
