This guy came to the job offering no real vision for the nation, instead he only served up absolute nonsense - Ede be keke - which for some, loosely translates into just existing at the wheels, not knowing which direction to go. To add insult to injury, he is telling us that, like a car, he is only in the first gear in a four-year term, so we can expect to see a fourth gear only in the fourth year. To hear that allegory from a guy and a president who had been a vice-president for the previous four years, and claims that because of the ill-health of Atta Mess, he John Mahama was really the one in charge behind the scenes, then we have reasons to conclude nothing good or extraordinary can be expected that is different from what we have seen from the last four years. The value is going to be the same, and corruption is going to consume all of us under Mahama. Our people tell us, 'Edwa beso'a efiri anopa', to wit, one can gauge the prospects of a good market day from the signs the morning activities project. Right now the country is sinking fast from all reliable indicators. In the last four years, the cedi has depreciated a whole 100 percent under Mahama and Atta Mess. What other assurances are we waiting for? To be hit on the head with bricks?
Look, John Mahama is not cut for prime time, he does not know how, and all his protestations are excuses to cover incompetence and corruption in high places, of which him and his party are direct beneficiaries. What the fuck is Ede be keke? Nonsense!

Sydney, the problem in Ghana is the lawlessness. People in positions of authority/trust abuse their positions and as a result institutions do not work. Ghana must allow the institutions to work, that is, if those leading them would not abuse their positions and take arbitrary decisions. For example, if laws, rules and regulations were working effectively in Ghana and institutions were strong, those who bought and used the poor quality condoms could sue for unwanted/unplanned pregnancies and VDs if they were able to prove that the use of those low standards condoms from Tobinco were directly responsible for their misfortune or as you put it " a miscarriage of condom vigilance". They must provide evidence of purchase and actual use such as receipts with dates that can determine the time of use from any unplanned pregnancies. From such actions Tobinco could be bankrupt. This will be a lesson to other businesses who would take their responsibilities serious and avoid poor quality products and services in the future for fear of litigation and going out of business.
I am confused about the role of parliament in this matter as well as the Ministry of Health claiming the FDA has no power to close down organisations under FDA's watch. At the same time the ministry claims it would seek total refund of the money for the sub-standard condoms. Will a full refund without any sanctions be ok? I am not in favour of closing down business because it is not economically wise but the health of citizens is more important. Again, such action appears to be a matter of showing someone where power lies (abuse of power) or personal vendetta.
The fact still remains that, no one is ever sanctioned or punished for any wrong doing in Ghana, including criminal acts of create, loot and share such as Woyome, GYEEDA, SADA, SUBAH, GRA, etc.

The guy at the top of the pharmaceutical company is an NPP financiar. Remember the best tactics for war plans that make it effective is "Cripple the pillars and you will cripple the building". And then we would take which corruption is or was killing the country and which is or was not killing.
