The payment of judgement debts, freebies given to voters and unprecedented corruption in Ghana is the cause When Rawlings ruled for 19 years the next government joined H.I.P.C because of the state of the economy the then secretary of state for ODA, Claire Short advised Kuffour to join . Look at the state of the economy now, they can't deliver that is the bottom line. Where are the loans they have incurred and what have they done with the loans? How many economists is Ghana gov't training and hiring? why would you use international falling prices as excuse? please add more calibre of economists to the minitries and stop this "makola" adhoc type of management.
