A 50-year-old man, Kwame Jack, has been burnt to death by irate youth after he allegedly killed his 43-year-old wife, Abena Donkor, at Brodi in the Tain District of the Bono Region.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Monday night following a misunderstanding between the couple.

Kwame Jack is said to have fled the scene after allegedly attacking his wife.

Members of the community subsequently combed the surrounding bush in search of him.

A source in the community said his body was later found at the Brodi Cemetery on Tuesday and he was confirmed dead.

“The youth at Brodi rushed to the bush and searched for him. We saw the body at Brodi Cemetery this afternoon and he was dead,” the source said.

The bodies of Kwame Jack and Abena Donkor have been deposited at the Nsawkaw Government Hospital Mortuary for preservation and further investigations.

The Nsawkaw Police are handling the case and have appealed to the public to remain calm as investigations continue.
