CCTV footage shared on X on August 5, 2026, and sighted by GhanaWeb has captured the moment a suspected thief entered a private residence and allegedly removed newly installed glass windows from the property.

The video, shared by SIKA OFFICIAL, appears to show a man entering the grounds of a private residence and removing newly installed glass windows from the building.

In the approximately 18-second video, the individual, dressed in a dark top, striped track pants and a face covering, is seen standing on a raised area of pinkish sand or soil adjacent to a white-walled building.

He then approaches a barred window and appears to manipulate it for several moments while holding what appears to be a tool or other object. He eventually detaches a multi-pane window frame.

The individual then carries the frame away from the structure before exiting the camera’s primary view.

The video has since sparked reactions on social media, with some users questioning the motivation behind stealing or removing a glass window.

“This is total madness. Ah, bibini yɛ nipa ooo. How much will he sell it for?” one user wrote.

Another X user said, “The hunger in this country is real. Mahama must do something.”
