Two Adolescent girls ganged raped in a bush at Aflao

Aflao, May 01, GNA - Two adolescent girls who ventured into a bush near their village a farming suburb of Aflao to attend nature's call were said to have been gang raped by four young men in the bush. The four, who were from the area and are on the run, were identified only as Daniel, JJ, Kudzo and Yerai aged between 18 and 26. Mr Baba Moro, the Aflao District Crime Officer, told the GNA that at about 1100 hours last Tuesday, the two girls from Gbagblakope entered the bush to attend to nature's call.

He said the four boys gagged them and raped them in turns. Mr Moro said one Noah Kofi, a passer-by whose attention was drawn to some strange sounds, rushed to the spot but the boys abandoned the girls and took to their heels.

A similar incident occurred at another suburb of Aflao earlier this year when three other young men gang raped a 20-year-old married woman when she called at a farm to purchase okro for sale at the market. They are also still on the run.
