An Accra Circuit Court has ordered a psychiatric evaluation for robber after the prosecution told the court that he had been soiling himself.

Aziz Fuseini, who appeared sober in court, was said to have defecated, added water and smeared himself with the mixture while in police cells.

He has been remanded into prison custody to re-appear on April 27.

Fuseini denied conspiring with one Roger, who is on the run, to rob Iddrisu Tahiru of his black Honda motorbike with the registration number, M-16-GR 659, valued GH¢ 7,500.00.

Police Chief Inspector Kwabena Adu, who held brief for Superintendent of Police Patience Mario, told the Court presided over by Mr Aboagye Tandoh that Fuseini, alias Garba, is 33 years and a tiler.

Tahiru, the prosecution witness, is a driver at the Electricity Company of Ghana, Tema branch while Fuseini lived at Akatamanso, near Tema.

On October 15, 2017, Tahiru was returning to his residence at Dansoman on his motorbike, and when he got to the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange, he parked the bike at a distance to buy cola-nuts.

He came back to find Fuseini by the motorbike, who requested that he (Tahiru) gave him a lift to the Kanda Highway.

Tahiru granted his request, and Fuseini got down at Second Traffic Light at the Kanda High Way, but he then seized the keys to the bike and shouted for Roger.

Roger came from behind a building close to the roadside, wielding a gun and knife and asked Tahiru to hand over the motorbike if he loved his life.

The two ordered Tahiru to lie down and when he did, they sped-off with the motorbike ridden by Fuseini.

Fuseini was later arrested by the Tesano police and when Tahiru was called he identified him as one of the robbers.
