SEXUAL ASSAULT: DRIVER CHARGED.

A 45-year-old driver, Christopher Kwame Tetevi, recently appeared before the Sunyani Community Tribunal charged with assault, forced imprisonment and causing damage to the clothes of his ex-wife, Ms. Grace Ama Seiwaa, 21.

He pleaded guilty to all the charges and was remanded in custody for sentence in July.

Prosecuting, Sergeant Benson Addo told the Tribunal presided over by Mr. Ato Asan that Tetevi on 18th June invited Ms. Seiwaa to attend to their sick child who now lives with him as a result of divorce.

After Ms. Seiwaa had prepared a meal for the child, Tetevi locked her up in his room, tore her clothes, stripped her naked and tied her up with a rope before having sex with her.
