Robbers kill two Police officers

Two Police officers have been shot to death by suspected armed robbers in the Ashanti region.

The incident happened between Drobonso and Kumawu road in the Sekyere Afram plains district when the officers were returning from night patrols Thursday dawn.

A third officer was lucky to have escaped danger.

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah who confirmed the incident to Okay FM Thursday said though the assailants are yet to be identified, he’ll not be quick at pointing accusing fingers at Fulani herdsmen but will not also rule them out as the perpetrators.
