Pupil-stomping teacher arrested

The teacher who was caught on camera trudging on two pupils over their inability to do their assignment has been arrested.

The Wassa Akropong Police have confirmed to Starr News madam Christiana Owusu of the Multi Educational Complex is behind bars and is being processed for court.

According to the station commander, ASP Kum Nipa, the pupils have been sent to the hospital for medical checkup.

“We are yet to complete our investigations and [she] will be processed for court,” ASP Nipa told Starr News.

Madam Owusu was captured in a leaked video stomping on the pupils who failed to do their homework or read properly.

Two pupils could be seen lying prostrate while class was in session as the teacher merrily jump on their backs to punish them.

The helpless Class Four pupils reeled in pains as madam Owusu crushed them with her feet on the hips and torso with glee.

A child rights activist Bright Appiah of Child’s Rights International has condemned the act and called on the parents to “be bold enough to sue the teacher and the school… the police and the Attorney General’s office should be interested in this matter.”
