Police look two fraudsters

Accra, Oct 9, GNA - The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service is looking for two suspects who allegedly defrauded two people in separate incidents. Emmanuel Kondo, a 22-year old Liberian, defrauded a Canadian of 13,000 dollars, while Enoch Nana Owusu Biney alias Kwaku Nantwie is also being sought for by the Police for allegedly collecting 6,000 dollars from one Sylvia Effah in November to secure her USA Visa but failed to do so.

Police statements signed by Police Inspector J.B. Darkwah said Kondo, who speaks English, is believed to be hiding in Bujumbura Refugee Camp, Kasoa, Accra or Tema.

Owusu Biney, a former student of Institute of Management Studies, Kumasi, is about 5' 10" tall, slim and wears spectacles. An Accra Circuit Court has issued a warrant for his arrest. He is believed to be hiding in Jachie-Ashanti, Kumasi, Tema or Western Region.

The Police asked anyone, who might have information about them, to contact CID Headquarters on Telephone Numbers 021 784589/ 027 7311866 or report to the nearest Police Station. 9 Oct. 06
