Mentally challenged person who slayed middle-aged man killed

The mentally unstable man who is alleged to have killed one Ahmed Yakubu has also been found dead.

His body was found at Dansoman market in Accra on Monday.

It is not clear as to what or who killed him. However, he was found in the midst of stones, sticks, rubble and other items suggesting he might have been pummeled and stoned to death.

The police were called in to convey the body to the morgue.

The mentally challenged man was alleged to have butchered a 59-year-old Ahmed Yakubu in an uncompleted building at Dansoman Tunga in the Ablekuman West Municipality on Sunday.

His family found him at the scene with parts of his body chopped off with an attempt to set the remains on fire.

This made the youth in the area angry and went in search of the said well-known mentally unstable man they suspect killed the man.
