Ex-NDC MP dies in New Jersey

The former Member of Parliament for the Eastern Region consitituency of Okere and a leading member of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, Mr. Fuzzy Torbay is reported dead. He died a few days ago in New Jersey, USA.

The late Mr. Torbay, aged 49, is said to have died after a short illness. He was NDC MP for Okere from 1992 to 2000. According to family sources, his mortal remains will be flown into the country next week for burial at Adukrom later. He left behind a wife and four children.

The late Mr. Torbay was the brother in-law of Mr. I.J. Mourkaxel, alias Mr. Life, a former chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko and member of the current board of the club. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
