Farmer admits in court of defiling girl, aged 11

Asamankese Circuit Court on Tuesday. The explanation by James Birikorang was that the girl willingly agre= ed to have sexual intercourse with him. "I did not force her, he followed me into the room and the way he he= ld me made me have the feeling to do it", he told the crowded court. before the Asamankese Circuit Court. Police Chief Inspector Francis Cobbina told the court that on Februa= ry 15 the girl unceremoniously left home and when she returned her uncle's w= ife noticed that she had in her possession 80 pesewas.

When questioned as to how she came by the money, she said while returning from toilet, Birikorang lured her into his room, gave her the money after having defiled her.

The girl's uncle after hearing the case decided to confront the accu= sed who without hesitation admitted having defiled the girl.
