An ex-convict, Mohammed Anabi, has been sent back to jail by the Juaso Circuit Court to serve a seven-year term over theft.

This came barely five months after regaining his freedom under the justice for all programme.

Anabi had broken into a provision store at Adomfe in the Asante-Akim South District and made off with a number of items together with cash of GH?2,000.00.

He was charged with unlawful entry and stealing and he pleaded guilty.

Police Detective Sergeant Princeton Peasah Darkwah told the court, presided over by Mr. Fredrick Tetteh, that the crime was committed on January 27, at about 0100 hours.

He was arrested and handed over to the police through the vigilance of the members of the unit committee in the community.

Anabi had in year 2010 been sentenced to seven years imprisonment for similar offence but was released in October, last year, under the justice for all programme.
