An Accra Circuit Court on Monday sentenced, Edem Komla, an Auto Electrician to 20 years imprisonment for having sex with two minors in turns in a kiosk at Frafraha, near Adenta.

According to ASP Boafo the second victim is the complainant’s niece. ASP Boafo said both victims lived with their grandmother at Frafraha. The convict also resides in the same vicinity.

On February 11, this year, prosecution said the complainant received a phone call from an unknown lady that she had seen the victims at Tema Station in Accra ready to board a car to Ho in the Volta Region.

The prosecution said the complainant and her brother proceeded to Tema Station and succeeded in bringing the victims home.

Prosecution said the victims told the complainant that on February 10, this year, they went to collect lesson notes from Rebecca, the first victim’s classmate to copy.

According to prosecution when the victims reached home, their grandmother threatened to beat them so they went to Komla who had asked them to come to him for money anytime they were in need.
