25-year old kill farmer over GH ¢12

A 25 year – old only identified as Asibe is on the run after he allegedly stabbed to death a 50-year old farmer one Nuhu over GH ¢ 12 at Shafa a farming community in the Sene West district of the Brong Ahafo Region.

According to the police who confirmed the incident to ultimate1069.com, the deceased borrowed an amount of GH¢ 27 from Humu mother of the absconded suspect with the aim of providing her with some maize to cover after the harvest.

The deceased however failed to honour his part of the bargain after harvesting his crops despite incessant pressure from the woman to pay back the money.

Nuhu it was revealed managed to pay GH¢15 with an outstanding balance GH ¢ 12 which he promised to pay at a later date but this degenerated into confusion between the man and the woman resulting in a scuffle.

The suspect from nowhere pulled a sharp knife and started stabbing the deceased until he fell unconscious and was rushed to Kwame Danso Government Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The Sene West District Police commander ASP Dompre revealed that the police are on a hunt for the mother and son who are believed to hiding somewhere in Kumasi.
