19-yr-old mother arrested for killing her one month baby

The Ashanti Regional Police Command has arrested a 19-year-old Junior high school pupil at Behenease in the Amansie East District for killing and dumping her one month old baby in a gutter.

Agyeiwaa Bimpong, who already has another child is said to have confessed that she wanted to get rid of the baby to enable her look for a job to take care of the other child.

Unfortunately the child could not survive after it was discovered by the Domestic Violence and Victims and Support Unit (DOVVSU) office in Kumasi.

According to the Police Agyeiwaa Bimpong will be put before court after investigations are completed.
