When a nurse, teacher or civil servant refuses posting or transfer, his or her salary is blocked. Why can't same be applied to medical doctors. In the public sector, appointment letter's clearly states that you will be sent where your services are needed. The interesting thing is that some of these doctors refuse postings to their home regions where their parents live. As to who should accept postings to these places and handle their parents when they fall sick is a question for them to answer.
