I am very impressed by Nana Addo's transformative leadership. Incorruptible visionary leadership, with his able lieutenant, Bawumia, at his side, is already yielding huge results and potentials.
My only question is the 3.6ft tracks gauge. I remember way back in the 1970s during the Acheampong's regime, authorities lamenting that our railway tracks gauge was too narrow to enable direct linkage with our francophone neighbours. I hope that concern has been factored into this new ventures.
What a better place it would be if our railway tracks can be upgraded to have the same track gauge as Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast and Togo, in fact, if the whole ECOWAS region can have the same railway tracks gauge, so that a train can leave Takoradi to Niamey without stopping at Paga because our 3.6ft gauge is too narrow to enable seamless transition. Bravo Nana Addo and Bawumia. I think you are the leadership we have been waiting for, for so long. Ayekoo! Well done already.

NDC is undemocratic. The D in the NDC simply means DemonCratic. NDC is a stupid and lawless party. NDC is full of criminals. The discovery of a spying device by an Israeli detective in the office of Amewu is a clear indication that the stand-alone-spying-device was actively working. Mr Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu said the claim by the former Minister of Lands and Natural Resources Inusah Fuseini, that the gadgets belonged to him but were not functional could not be true since he (Fuseini) could have removed them when he was leaving office or informed his successor about the presence of such devices in the office after he had left office.
The majority leader said Mr Amewu had indicated that he received some visitors in his office and that when they (visitors) were leaving one of them who had a very sophisticated handset caught a signal of the presence of the bugging gadgets, after which he alerted the minister. He said when a search was conducted, it was detected that the bugging gadgets had secretly been installed behind the Coat of Arms which was hanging on the wall.
Remember, NDC is vehemently opposing the $19Bn Chinese cash. Remember that agreement will be initiated in this same Amewu’s office. The 58% concession to Ibrahim Mahama was also signed in this same office. What it means is that the NDC intentionally planted the spying device in Amewu’s office to protect Ibrahim Mahama’s interest. This give away concession was given to Ibrahim Mahama by his crooked brother John Mahama.

I am very much in sync with what Oyokoba said regarding the width of the railway line. We must build it in such a way as to match guages found in other West African countries. I believe most modern guages measure 4 feet or more. Please let's make this a modern infrastructure but not anything that falls short in any way. Long live Nana Addo, a true son of Ghana who has the welfare of his people at heart. Long live NPP!!!

What? People voted for a good governance free from corruption which unfortunately has eluded the continent. I want for our leaders to pledge their allegiance to the principles of non alignment that will enable them to get whatever help they can get in order to dig their citizens out of poverty; with no string attached. Of course we have to reject baites that will jeopardize our freedoms and the rule of law.

Oh Ghana, why will these blinkered Govt Officials go and waste our scarce resources on an outmoded narrow gauge railway system instead of thinking ahead with a wide gauge system which can handle fast trains in the future as our needs grow? Can someone enlighten us with the reasons for sticking with the old rail track system we've had since the colonial days when even the old rolling stock can be re-modelled for a wide gauge track system??? Why oh why Ghana????

I am not happy at all about the MOU between Ghana and Russian Railway Company which suggests that they are going to build a single track rail system. If we have decided to rebuild our railways, let us do something new and beneficial in the long term. As for a single track, I beg to differ. At least a double track will do if we cannot have a multiple track system.

The new Lines should be operated with electricity so that we could travel faster and transact business faster in the country. Workers coyldvstay far away from their work placescand commute to and fro work. An efficient railway will save our roads from these destructive tankers and trucks.
