Import Duties on pick up trucks should also be waived because they are not luxury nor saloon cars.Pick Up trucks are mostly used for commercial purposes.I was surprised to learn that Importers pay duties on them.

Your Excellency Nana Addo, Ghanaians all over the world, would appreciate, if you can bring back the law that states that, if a Ghanaian travels outside Ghana for more than a year, any single items that the person brings, will not attract duties. The person will pay duty, if the person brings more than one of the same items. That law was there before Rawlings came and abolished it. We will cherish that law, because that will help all Ghanaians abroad. After all, Ghana belongs to us & we're all to benefit from that. The selfish, greedy, mean, envy & corruption politicians, have tightened our necks with ropes for quite a long time so we need relief. If a politician or some Ghanaians sees that a fellow Ghanaian has come from overseas & has been able to bring in a car, or doing different kind of business, they'll make enquiries to make sure the person loses what they have. Look @ the previous government taxing ice water to sellers & kayayo's. Don't they have feelings for people? The Best book in the world states that; do unto others what you would like others to do unto you. And are they applying what God has said? Don't politicians know that it's the people that voted for them to be @ the places where they are? Some people will die without benefiting from Ghana so why don't you do something to benefit all. After all, life is short. Some politicians are having billions & the rest, millions of dollars in their accounts excluding their properties. Also the law that states that Ghanaians are not to import cars & vehicles more than twelve years, I want the government to abolish that. Since Ghana came into existence, I don't know & haven't seen anything that the nation produces, besides our lovely ladies. Nana, the world is not hard as these corrupt politicians say to deceive many. If Ghana is to adopt a duty free as our neighboring country Togo have been practicing since, without hearing anything from their governments, why can't we do the same? Nana, set your eyes on the custom officers! They're more thieves than the politicians. At least the lower ranking officers not having anything @ all, is five mansions excluding their cars & money hidden somewhere. Also focus on all government institutions. The top ranked teams are all corrupt. Nana, kindly shine your eyes.
