  Did Akufo-Addo discuss trade between the two countries? Or you don't know that it's trade between countries that improve the lives of people in respective countries. Do you know Liberia's biggest trading partner? It's certainly not Ghana by any stretch of the imagination. It is USA.
  
  Akufo-Addo was recently in Sierra Leone, how much trade did he discussed with the Sierra Leone govt. Ghana will continue to be poor unless we have a leader who force African (ECOWAS) countries to trade among themselves, otherwise know as intra trade. My brother it is the only way!!!

  Hmmmm, I think you will that Liberia & the U.S.A. have long historical & trading links that have existed since the 1800's, and therefore, I am not surprised that the U.S.A. is it's largest trading partner. To be fair to President Akuffo-Addo,he has consistently been promoting the need to improve intra trade on his recent tours abroad to other ECOWAS countries. This is ahead of a Trade Treaty, that comes into force in 2018.

  The key is collaboration and cooperation for trade, perhaps swapping/exchanging goods (i.e. barter) and services as Nana listed ... iron ore, timber,rubber, etc.
