Selling the only Power company in the country is like a Town in the Saharah desert selling their only water well to Foreigners because they are too stupid and lazy to maintain it.Whoever control the only power company directly controls our economy and our country.They will use electricity supply tricks and price gauging to draw Ghana's other national assets into huge debts which will facilitate their taking over too.Electricity supply under Foreign ownership or "leasee" will be reliable but in less than 5years they will make sure that very few Ghanaian owned companies and farms or will be able to afford their electric bills or stay in business.And mind you for every Ghanaian company that fails 2 or 3 even better finance and better run Foreign owned companies will replace them.In 20 years we will all be labourers and workers for foreign owned companies and all sensitive national assets will be in their hands.Does anybody think that the "Foreign Investors"will at this point give everything back to us???They will use our own citizens as well paid and well equipped security forces to supress any trouble makers and protestors.Any national leader who would try to reconstruct our sovereignty and independence will be villified as a Terrorist or Anarchist and murdered.Before you dismiss me as having a rich imagination know that they have already done this to many other countries in South and Central America and Africa.Read"Confessions of an Economic Hitman" a book by John Perkins.I think you can even getan audio version for free on Youtube.I curse the day Ghanaians made that grinning idiot Mahama our President.Ghanaians must wake up and stop using their internet services for more than social media,football and porn.Let us fight to keep our freedom and independence with all our might.

One has to pay bribe (400 cedis ) in Tema and every where some even charged more etc.I think it should be given to the Italian firm,Italians are noted to be hard,rough and discipline and since they are investing their money in it they can remove corrupt officials from ECG. I think point of repatriation
of their investment is not big issue.Those our brothers and sisters who travelled to the west and work, when they get money where do they send it to?
