We have ourselves to blame. We have land, good for growing cotton. There are many hands to pick cotton in the fields. We have the expertise to grow cotton. There are existing factories. The machines may not be modern. But they can be improved. We have tailors and dressmakers. At the least, can't we produce gray baft, cotton materials and sew decent school uniforms, hospital dresses, and some clothings for our numerous schools? We must put this country to work and stop the problems we have put on ourselves by not thinking on our feet.
