I love Ku4 and respect him more than I can express here but I still think he failed us by selling off Ghana Airways. Can anybody tell me that Ghana's Aviation industry is better off because we sold Ghana Airways? If the"Foreign investors"really wanted to invest in our country's aviation why didn't they just start their own Airlines companies to compete fairly instead of taking over the only Airline in Ghana. It is all part of attempts to dillute our control over our sovereignty and national aspiration by compelling us to become dependant on them for vital services and goods.

You see Kwadaso, it isn't just a matter of maintaining the Ghana Airways by all means if the country has to keep on borrowing money to keep the Airline which was only making deficits. It really doesn't make any economic sense if the only aircraft that the Airline was operating with was ceased at different times in Rome, London or elsewhere for not being able to pay the money it owed these Airports. It isn't a matter of selling your sovereignty but the inability of managing our national airline. Both the previous government and the new one are all talking about establishing a new National Airline. Believe me with our ghanaian mentality any new national airline will suffer the same fate as the previous ones.
