HFC bank recorded losses and is hiding behind to inform the public about mixed financial results .
Under Asare akuuffo regime , the bank was doing great with its peers like CAL bank. Staff were paid their 13 months and COLA on time without any biases . There was unity in the bank . The gap in satff salaries were not too much . Clothing allowance gap was not selective .
However , the exodus of this Trinidad bank led by Robert Le hunte has created so much tension within the bank . Staff re dissatisfied and disappointed due to enormous changes and issues introduced which re seen as unfavorable . These includes ;
Introduction of a new grading system which seek to satisfy some favorite ( Staff with god fathers , female staff sleeping with big men, staff expert in gossiping ) at the expense of those without such "saviors" .
Robert Le hunte ( MD ) is seen as curse to the bank since he takes delight and interest in sleeping with Ghanaians female satff of the bank . Previously , he used to bonked and slept with a fair lady but lady couldn't contain the shame and humbly left the bank .
Currently , this same MD Is bonking and sleeping with another lady ( now working at the bank subsidiary ) which is no news in the bank .
The bank recorded Big loss ( evidenced in local news paper ) and as a result no promotion and bonuses were to be envisaged. However , some favorite has been promoted to another band and the same people have been given bonus just for mere fact of acheiveing their "Target". This was so discriminatory and ucncouth in financial institution. Some staff re working so hard at the branches but re not seen by the directors . This act of big men sleeping with young ladies for promotion should be condemned.
The Board should review the grading system to bring assurance , fairness, sanity and relief to some aggrieved staff. Further , directors should not only sit inside their comfortable office and enjoy their air - condition but should be put to task to bring more business to meet their target. Responsibilities should be shared ( meeting target ) and not be burdened on junior staff alone.
