USE PLASTIC WASTE IN GHANA TO PRODUCE THE CEDI WHICH WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE FOR PEOPLE TO WRITE ON IT EVEN IF YOU WASH IT, IT STILL REMAIN THE SAME

The cashiers in the the banks are the ones who write these numbers. I have witnessed it several times. BoG should rather advised them to stop. I wish somebody investigates and the truth will come out.

It doesn't make anyou sense that 1in every 20 notes you handle has writings all over it.Stop trying to blame bankers for that stupidity. Why can't Ghanaiansee learn to behave like civilized citizens without being told first?

It is sad how our banknotes are used and also very dirty and smelly (esp.one & Two cedis notes) I'd observe all the times at funerals that people used the notes to clean some hepatitis dancers face and throw it out. What woul ... read full comment

Can BoG take a strong of our dirty notes? Can we ignore a note payment if it is dirty or find ink writing on if?

why is it that ghana currency is so dirty ,soft and poisonous ?
i think it is high time BOG instructed all the banks to buy the wash and dry currency machines so that the little that goes to the bank could come out strong , ... read full comment

i think it is high time BOG instructed all the banks to buy the wash and dry currency machines so that the little that goes to the bank could come out strong , clean and dry.
more so all the post offices must be task to do banking and an agent of bills payment, or an official modernized financial transactions.
in doing so the mobile money will work in that premises in one of their front desk counters to sanitize the system
