GCB bank is noted for employing majority of Ewes to occupy most of the bank position. Source ( insiders ) has pointed out that , the ethnocentric tags was so disgusting wen this man - so called Mawuli Abgesi was appointed as new MD under the NDC regime. He was like a dummy god to the Ewes . He was surrender by Ewes in and out of banking activities . The majority of the staff were dominated by Ewes . The Akan became like enemies with most them sentenced with transfer letters to remote branches of the bank ( irrespective of marital status ) .
Application of staff loans facility was tailored to suit the Ewes whilst the Akans were declined with no reason .
So Mawuli Agbesi was working for the NDC and not for ghana . Well, if this crooked banker (old banking ideas) has decided to draw curtains on his career , then is good news to the banking industry since lots of young ones with varied experience can lead . Old ideas should leave to pave way for the young vibrant energetic ones to bring new light and enhance maximization of shareholders wealth and not a particular group of crooked people .
