So is the government saying it has no control over the fixing of transportation fares in the country? Why should the government leave this critical issue in the hands of GPRTU who are the same owners of these cars? It means GPRTU is the same judge prosecuting its own case. How did we get here? I remember some time ago when the assemblies and transportation ministry used to come out with fares. Now we're making the drivers fix their own fares. GPRTU has gradually become political and a boss unto itself. It fixes transportation fares whenever it feels like. And the government cannot do anything about it. The poor passengers who have no representation will always be at the lose end. Ghana has no leadership.

when people talk and create the impression as if galamsey workers are murderers,I feel pains in my heart, bcos u are just expressing ur ignorancy.check during mahama's time when he tried stopping it,crimes in terms of robbing.the fact is the said act keeps a lot of ex convicts and young men from going back into crime.if u have ever lived for just a day without having or not knowing what to eat u will feel for these people.what we should rather do is to put plans in place to check their activities from time to time to prevent them from mudding the waters and also reclaim the land after they have finished.the anecessary noise in the media won't help.Mahama tried it and failed, these one will just be another avenue for our so called security officer to steal from these people cos most of them are involved.Npp regional organiser of Ashanti region is a well known guru in the bussiness.start from ur house Npp,bcos the lord said I will start my judgement from my house which is the church.I rest my case.
