The Ameri deal for the emergency power supply deal stings of dubious practice somewhere along the line by the previous Administration, and this is why the present Government has taken bold steps to set up a commission of inquirry to unravell the genuineness or otherwise of the deal. It must be recalled that,after the aggreement when the NDC Administration announced the cost of the deal, some International Organizations decried of the said cost is higher above the normal cost from the original dealers, that raised eye brows to necessitate an inquirry into the whole deal.The former minister Dr Donkor should not panick on this matter if his hands are clean over the deal.The outcome of the deal would be for the interest of Ghana and particularly the tax payers of this country.
