At least the west have some respect for our environment when they are engaged in any activity affecting the environment. Again, the Chinese are more corrupt and would engage in acts that will do more harm to our economy than the west. The only advantage of dealing with China is in the fact that their assistance to us is less bearaucratic, more expeditious than that from the west but they come with grave consequences such as we are experiencing with the 'galamsey' menace.
