I have worked with Mantrac before and iI don't doubt this story bcos of what we went through during our time in 1999 when we also opted for Ghana mine workers Union...some of my colleagues also were sacked for no reason.bcos some of the Board members are beneficiary of the loots they get from the workers deductions which they don't render any account for the workers.....I think is high time the government take a keen interest in the welfare and job security of the citizens of this country ....bcos most the appointees to both Labour department and labour commission are corrupt that is Y these problems keep recurring in the country especially mantrac ghana

As former worker who left because of this similar intimidation, I must say that enough is enough the company should put an end to this nonsense before it end them there reputation forever. We were deducted two dues that's ICU 1&2 a part supposed to go to ICU and the other part spend by the HRs and their own appointed union reps and wen the issue of accountability was raised, people were intimidated to resign. They will always won't to chop a percentage of worker's salary aside their huge salaries and bonuses and will blame the government. Hmmmmmmm God is watching.

If President Akuffo Addo would research in to the affairs of some companies like Mantrac and others i think a lot of issues will come out because they are really cheating employees and the entire country.

Just like H. E. Nana Addo Dankwah accepted the verdict on the Supreme Court although we disagree with the obviously unfair stance of the NLC, we agree to go by their direction to re-resign from ICU.
But how can an institution like NLC be so blind to workers plight? How can such an institution swallow their own words on what was supposed to be a day of verdict and not a day of re-direction? How can the National Labour Commission rubbish the Labour departments issuance of verification to know which union has the majority after going through evidences provided to it realizing all necessary procedures had been followed?
H. E the president of Ghana wants the nation to get back on track and it starts with Institutions working as required.
Mr. President, make the NLC work and labour issues would be at its lowest in during your administration!!!
We believe in Ghana!
And to Mantrac who is selective at selective 'justice' for their evil deeds to thrive, we are still watching. No one is above any law of our dear nation!!
