Mr. Terkper:
It is time for you to vacate that spot called Minister of Finance along with Mona Quartey], your deputy. You two have been too inefficient in addressing the real reasons why the Ghanaian economy is under-producing goods and services.
Ever heard of design? It is a process whereby goods are envisioned and then sketched, technically drawn and then produced. You don't even have an economy that addresses the design needs of the current generation of students. What is this? A foreign technology dependent economy? Have mercy! What is wrong with academics?
Put me in your position and I will personally put you and your econometric nonsense to real shame. It is time Africa! Stop following the Western model of economics for good.
Sincerely,
Apostle Mawuetornam Dugbazah
It is time for Africa to produce more goods and services through design houses that are home grown.

To create a productive economy requires real design dynamism. Here are some examples of design fields that are integral to an economy:
Mr. Terkper, stop focusing on the numbers as enforced by World Bank (WB) and International Monetary Fund (IMF) dictates and conditions. Look at the qualitative aspects of the Ghanaian economy and learn to spend on blue collar training and service delivery. Deal with Ghana's design deficient economy once and for all. Thank you.
Sincerely,

Mr. Terkper:
In a design-driven economy, Ghana will need increased access to its own raw materials in order to produce more locally made goods. For this reason, it is imperative to begin paving the way to legislate resource embargoes even if this leads to the crippling of foreign economies.
Such embargoes will help Ghana save resources for future generations, push for a design-driven economy, maintain its sovereignty and negotiate better terms of international trade where needed. As it stands, the nation is simply an appendage of the Anglo-American economy. Protectionist measures are needed to preserve and innovate within the Ghanaian economy.
If you cannot get the job done Mr. Terkper, by being resolute and furiously bold in your dealings, get out of the hot seat and let someone else do to job!
Sincerely,
Mawuetornam Dugbazah

Mr. Terkper is not objectively making the link of how investments in petrochemicals help Ghana's agriculture. Also I am not sure if the country has the required money to become the Petrochemical hub. Please stop the false dreams and focus on areas of growth that benefits all Ghanaians such as production of local food crops that Ghanaians consume - that will help reduce inflation and reduce dependency on foreign importation of food that could be produced in Ghana
