This project i believe is a WAOO..n is certainly going to be game changer in the job n wealth creation opportunities in ghana n in the north to effectively terminate the hordes n perennial movements of our siblings from up northern ghana to the south for greener pastures. this is bcos it is a mass job creation avenue or industry which is going to fill the huge gap of apparel n textiles market here that are imported from elsewhere in Asia in particular..this will also help satisfy the plus 300 existing markets in west africa n other regions on the continent.
The U.S. agoa initiative is still running n still offering further huge potential to earn forex for the nation n throw out countless jobs..
our textiles companies should be looking at this potential, retool n stop whinning excessively over piracy issue on the african prints as its market is largely limited to west africa....
this project i urge govt n sada to as a matter of urgency be pursued with all the religious fervor, energy n seriousness it derserve..
