That Akufo Addo has not seen that to talk about but he is going about promising the heavens whilst he himself reside here on earth. He could not provide his community a simple borehole but he wants to govern Ghana which is far bigger than his little community he couldn't help. Only God knows how deceitful he is with all these empty promises he is making to win votes so he can get his family properties back.

A Coastal Development Authority is just another quango which will not make any impact on the coast or fishing. Nana Addo has certainly not learned the lessons of SADA.

Northern Development Authority proposed by Nana Akufo-Addo in 2007 turned Savana Accelerated Development Authority (SADA) by the NDC; SHS was turned into something else by the NDC which couldn't stand the test of time; North Western Region was first rubbished by NDC's Sampson Ahi---he said: "it is a political gimmick" but it turned out that he changed his words in less than a week. Now Nana Akufo-Addo's coastal Development Authority---we're waiting for NDC's copy cat version? The fact is that the NDC don't have any ideas to make Ghana work, except to borrow huge loans, create, loot and share the nation's scanty resources. Then go "copy catting" every time the NPP put their manifesto out. Now Ghanaians are afraid that the NDC won't attempt to steal Nana's latest vision for our costal dwellers esp fisher folks. Oh NDC.....why...????

Let's look at the funds Nana intends to create - don't mind where and hie he gets the money: Northern Development fund, Cashew Development fund, Zongo Development fund, Palm Oil Development fund, Volta Development fund, and now Coastal Development fund. This is Nana Addo for you. Promises galore! Now let's look at the freebies: Free education for all from Nursery through basic to SHS, Tax free importation of raw materials, Reduction in corporate taxes, removable of VAT from selected goods, Allowances for nurses and trainee teachers (never mind the huge increase in numbers), Allowances for Islamic school (makaranta) teachers, and many more. Nana, after all these, will then proceed to build 216 factories, one in each district (never mind feasibility, cost implication), Create an additional Western North region (never mind the rigorous constitutional process and huge capital outlay). Yes, according to the follow follow sycophantic NPP supporters and their surrogates, these are doable and will be done (never mind their 2000 deceptions which never materialized: Scrap VAT which they rather increased by 2.5 percent, Reduce petroleum prices which was rather increased by 65 percent, Build railway lines from Takoradi to Wa which never saw even a meter being built, Put-up high-rise buildings in the Zongo which never happened, Give employment to any Ghanaian able and willing to work which turned up to be an insult (remember those who were made to line up in the scorching sun to register for jobs which they never got, and when in 2008 people complained of hardships, Kuffuor told them that they were lazy (AKWAJIRIFOUR). In fact, Nana Addo and the NPP can never cease to amaze with their strategy of LYING their way to power. Their record is there for all to see, so Ghanaians must be ware.
