    Sad you did not factored in higher energy cost but mentioned only imported raw materials.
    Is it because the "killer energy " tariff would make the government unpopular?

    let's take Cindy rice compared to a locally perfumed rice as a case study:
    Cindy rice with import duty per cup is being sold at c2.20 cedis whereas a cup of locally perfumed rice with no import duty is being sold at c2.50
